Why Avon?Deb Bauleke, 57, has been an Independent Avon Sales Representative for 6 years. She is a Gold Ambassador and an Avon Team Unit leader.
Deb chose Avon because her mom used to sell and she was already using many of the products. She says, “I also love the quality and prices of the products.”
Deb’s favorite part of being an Avon rep is meeting so many wonderful people and assisting them in finding products that are perfect for them at a price they can afford.
Although she used to have other jobs, about four years ago she left the other jobs to do Avon full time. “It’s the best decision I ever made! Avon Rep, Wife and Homemaker are my titles now,” Deb says.
Deb’s challenges and goals
When asked where she is in her Avon journey, Deb says, “Avon has such a great array of opportunities to take you where you want to go. I have been selling at the Rose Circle level the past two years and Honor Society prior to that. I am also a Gold Ambassador and have a team of nine active representatives in my down line. My plan is to continue growing my Avon business and be recognized by Avon for my devotion to my business.”
Some of Deb’s goals are to “continue to offer my customers superb customer service, build my team, assist other representatives with some of the skills and tips I’ve learned along the way and to hopefully have my husband join Avon and we can do the business together as we travel.” She adds, “He is a great asset to my business now and is known as the Avon Man by my customers.”
Deb’s biggest challenge with running her Avon business is time management. She says, “I have so many ideas and plans to share the business, but with my lack of time management, many of them get put on the sidelines for a later time.”
Deb plans to finish out the year strong once again at the Rose Circle level with Avon. But she also has personal plans and goals: to get prepared for a baby shower she’s hosting and the big Thanksgiving Holiday meal for her family, along with attending her grandchildren’s dance and sporting events. She is so grateful that Avon enhances her lifestyle, rather than disrupts it.To meet the challenge of time management, Deb’s action items include putting her tasks/events on the calendar to better plan her time. To grow her business, she plans to share her Avon Brochures when she’s out doing tasks for her other events. She also plans to talk about the benefits of Avon when she’s with others and share all the great Holiday items Avon has this season.
While Deb sees her biggest obstacles as getting organized and using her time wisely, she has a plan to overcome those obstacles by “starting each day fresh with a plan of what needs to get done and work to achieve the items I have on my list for the day.”
